Rene started her career as an HR professional in the healthcare industry where she spent 8 years learning all aspects of HR and progressing her career. From there, she moved to the financial industry where she spent the majority of her career as a C-Level executive with leadership responsibility for recruitment, training, leadership development, succession planning, employee engagement, compliance and regulatory issues, compensation and benefits administration.

Rene holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Radford University. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

She has served on non-profit boards and her philanthropic interests are the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association and Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters (CHKD).

Rene lives in Norfolk, Virginia with her husband and her black lab.  She has two grown sons.


Idaliz Rivera

Vice President and Partner

Ida was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Idaliz has worn many hats in a variety of industries throughout her career. She has spent the past several years in Administration, Finance, Payroll, Human Resources, Benefits, and Worker’s Compensation in the Shipbuilding Industry. Ida also worked a number of years in the healthcare world where she served in both Administrative Management and Patient Care roles.

Ida holds a Bachelor of Science Business Administration-Major in Marketing from the Interamerican University in Puerto Rico. After moving to Virginia, she decided to pursue other careers and obtained an Associate Degree in both Medical Assistant and Massage Therapy. Ida is fluent in Spanish and English.

Ida lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia with her husband Jaime who is currently working in the Ship Repair Industry and her youngest daughter, Jamie who keeps her very busy traveling for soccer. She also has two older daughters Ninoshka and Naiomi that live in the area.
